Hello, my name is DJ Joey B. My job is to make your next event, One To Remember! I do not scratch, I just play the best music tailored to your event.
I have been DJing professionally for more than a decade. I have had the opportunity to DJ all types of events. I truly enjoy being around the crowd and getting energy from people enjoying the music I am playing. I make sure each event is as unique as the people who attend them.
I got my start while I was working for Pearson Music Company. While there I was learning about live sound setups and DJ setups. I made friends with many of the local DJ’s in the area. They told me I should put my love of music together with my knowledge of sound equipment and
bring music to the masses. I started DJing by taking my equipment up to the pool and playing tunes for my friends and family. People started asking if I would DJ their party’s and events. I realized that my mixing had finally gotten good enough to take on the road.
I have worked with hundreds of couples providing the soundtrack for their wedding day. I have also worked with many of the schools in Durham such as Little River Elementary, Easley Elementary, Carrington Middle, Brogdon Middle, and Riverside High School.
