Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, family reunion, holiday, or just getting people together for a great night, the music should fit the people in the room.

I’ll work with you ahead of time to understand what you’re planning, the music you and your guests enjoy, and how you want the event to feel. Then, once the party starts, I can adjust throughout the night based on what’s actually happening.

Your Party Should Sound Like Your Party

Private parties can bring together completely different groups of people. You may have several generations in the same room, a group that knows exactly what they want to hear, or guests whose musical tastes are all over the place.

That’s where experience and crowd reading matter.

You can give me as much or as little direction as you want. Tell me your must-plays, songs or genres to avoid, and anything that has special meaning to you. Guest requests are welcome, too.

From there, I mix live and adjust as the party develops rather than working through a predetermined playlist.

No two private parties need to look the same. I provide DJ and MC services for:

Some events turn into packed dance floors. Others are more social, with music creating the atmosphere throughout the evening. Many fall somewhere in between.

The goal isn’t to force every party into the same format. It’s to make the music fit the celebration you’re actually planning.

More Than Just the Dance Floor

Music may be the biggest part of the night, but it isn’t always the only thing happening.

If your party includes introductions, announcements, speeches, special dances, games, presentations, or other planned moments, we can talk through those ahead of time. I can provide the announcements and help keep things moving without making the event feel overly structured.

I also work with the venue and other vendors when needed so everyone knows what’s happening and when.

Music That Changes With the Room

A great private-party playlist isn’t necessarily one genre or one generation of music.

I may move between current music, 2000s and 2010s favorites, ’80s and ’90s, Motown, disco, rock, country, hip-hop, dance music, or something completely different depending on your guests.

What matters is what works for your crowd.

If something is working, I can stay with it. If the energy changes, I can change direction. And if someone makes a request that opens up another direction for the party, I can work with that too.

That flexibility is one of the biggest advantages of having a DJ instead of relying on a playlist.

You don’t need to build the entire night yourself.

Once you’re booked, we’ll work through the important details at your pace. You can send me music ideas, playlists, special requests, schedule information, or questions as they come up.

As the event gets closer, we’ll make sure I have what I need so you can enjoy the party instead of worrying about what song comes next or when something is supposed to happen.
