“Oh what a night… late September in twenty seventeen.”

Back in late September of 2017, I had the privilege of DJing the wedding of Nathan Brown and Amber White at the beautiful Harvest House in Ramseur, North Carolina. This venue, tucked away in rural central North Carolina, created the perfect setting for a classic barn wedding with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Amber and Nathan chose the barn for both their ceremony and reception, while the house was used for the buffet and hors d’oeuvres. Their ceremony began at 4:30 PM, and the timing could not have been better. Natural sunlight streamed into the barn, blending perfectly with the glow of the chandeliers to create a soft, romantic feel.
As the evening transitioned into the reception, everything lined up perfectly. After dinner, just as the sun dipped below the treeline, the dance floor came to life. The Edison bulb string lights illuminated the tables while the chandeliers lit the dance floor, giving the entire space a magical, intimate energy.
As the night came to a close, everything came together beautifully. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day as Amber and Nathan began their new life together.
Nathan and Amber put a lot of thought into their music selections, choosing songs that were meaningful to them and helped tell their story throughout the day.

They kicked off the dancing with “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles, which set the tone for a packed dance floor.
One of the most meaningful moments of the night was a special dedication from Amber to her mother and all the mothers in attendance with “Mamma’s Song” by Carrie Underwood.
To close out the night, Amber and Nathan shared their final dance to “Oh, Darling” by The Beatles, ending the celebration on a high note.
It’s always special to stay connected with families after the wedding day, and I’m excited to be back with their family again next year for another celebration.
